Her expertise includes digital transformation, HRIS integration, regulatory compliance, and strategic people advisory.

Shujat Malik, CFA | Director (Research)

A seasoned Public Financial Management Advisor with extensive experience supporting projects financed by multilateral development institutions, including the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank. He has provided advisory services to both federal and subnational governments on key areas of public financial management, including sovereign debt management, fiscal policy and governance, public–private partnerships, and economic development strategies. His work focuses on strengthening fiscal frameworks, improving financial sustainability, and supporting evidence-based policy and financing decisions within the public sector

Muhammad Abdullah | Director (Project  Management)

An economist with over 10 years of experience in public debt management, public financial management, and macroeconomic policy. He has worked at Pakistan’s Federal Debt Management Office and brings expertise in debt sustainability, macroeconomic analysis, and fiscal policy. As a World Bank consultant, he contributed to macroeconomic and revenue analysis, debt management reforms, and the federal government’s rightsizing initiative. He has also supported Asian Development Bank programs on debt recording systems integration with DMFAS, SOE governance, and broader public financial management reforms in Pakistan.

Nael Shahbaz | Director (Marketing & Investor Relations)

Nael Shahbaz is a marketing and investor relations professional with over a decade of experience in digital marketing, brand strategy, and business growth across technology, fintech, and international services sectors. He currently serves as Head of Investor Relations at Wasala and Marketing Director at Heritage Fabrics, where he leads strategic communications, investor engagement, and market positioning initiatives. Previously, he headed marketing at InvoZone and held senior marketing and content leadership roles with organizations including Payoneer, Programmers Force, and SAMT AG (Switzerland). A co-author of The WealthTECH Book, Nael brings strong expertise in B2B marketing, growth strategy, and technology-driven financial ecosystems, supporting investor outreach and strategic visibility for emerging ventures such as Northfield Partners.

Abdul Rehman Warrich, CFA, FRM | Advisor

Abdul Rehman Warraich is a seasoned financial sector and public policy professional with over two decade of experience in capital markets regulation, sovereign debt management, and institutional investment. He recently served as Commissioner at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and previously held the position of Director General (Debt) at the Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan. His earlier roles include Chief Investment Officer at UBL Fund Managers, Head of Investments at Punjab Pension Fund, and advisory roles with Oxford Policy Management, bringing strong expertise in debt strategy, capital markets, and public financial management.

Syed Haroon Qidwai | Advisor

A Debt Management and Capital Markets Specialist with 16 years of experience advising governments including the Sultanate of Oman, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia on debt management, treasury operations, and capital markets. His expertise includes financial instrument structuring, issuance planning, and funding strategy development in coordination with central banks, regulators, and market participants. He currently serves as Head – Financing & Debt Management at Oman Air, overseeing financing arrangements in coordination with the Debt Management Office of Oman, and has also worked as a Public Debt Management Consultant on ADB and World Bank, FCDO, OPM, programs and also provided advisory services to the Islamic Development Bank on treasury and risk management.He provides voluntary services to Northfield Partners.
